I have a very clear memory of something that happened last year, at the beginning of March.
It was a bright and sunny day, and I was lying in a hospital bed and reading my favourite fashion magazine, Elle.
Yes, I had just delivered my baby, and she was peacefully sleeping in a tiny crib next to me. As I was flipping through the shiny pages a sudden thought occurred to me: what will it be like, our world, in 20, or 30, or 40 years?
Will the pollution be decreased? Will poverty throughout the world be defeated? Will all wars be ended for good? Which cars will we drive? Well, will we drive at all, or maybe just fly with some futuristic wings? How will we dress? What kind of music will we listen to? Will it be a better world? Yes, I was definitely exhausted, and ecstatic too. And it certainly was my maternal instinct that was thinking for me. Sure, I could not know.
But I figured out a cute way for my baby to recall, in 20, 30, 40 years, how the world was like when the year that she was born. And I decided that I would have kept all March issues of my favourite fashion magazine (which also covers politics, lifestyle, current events, arts, culture) for all the years to come.
This month I added a second volume to my collection!
I hope you liked the idea,
Enjoy and share the love,
