What would be a nursery without a crib mobile?
They say they’re useful for babies to develop vision and tactile skills. But I say they’re useful for moms too, ’cause they look so cute you really can’t help giggling when you see one of them!!
The best news is… you don’t have to spend lots of money to have one, you can easily make one yourself!! Since I actually didn’t make one myself for my baby, I’m just trying to inspire your creativity with the following gallery of images… Each and every one is simply gorgeous!!!
These first ones are taken from http://www.ontobaby.com, a beautiful blog that displays amazing real nurseries. The first one features hot-air balloons… I so LOVE hot-air balloons as decorations for the nurseries!!! Then we have a beautiful arrangement in turquoise, white and pale pink, and at last pastel color fabrics for romantic clouds with rain drops…. Lovely!!!
And aren’t these Cloud-Mobiles adorable, too? You can purchase them at the link below the image… beautiful French shop!!
The following ones are made out of felt, in different shapes, colors and… themes! If you’re good enough at sewing and creating with felt it should be easy making one yourself, and the outcome… inevitably stunning!

But if felt is not what you were looking for, then let’s go crocheting!
Still not satisfied? Do you prefer paper origami? Here’s some ideas for you!

And last but not least… super funny wood mobile art!! Who wouldn’t love this??!?
