Striped Nursery – So chic!

by

Hello World!

First of all, I apologize it has taken me so long between one post and another lately… last weeks have been pretty crazy, and I’ve been really busy with other major projects I will be shortly sharing with you all!

Today I would love to share some ideas about decorating the nursery… with striped walls!

I’ve always been thinking that a striped wall can add a special allure to the whole room, like a romantic mood if it comes in pastel colors or a funky vibe if it features bright and pop colors. We’re obviously talking about a nursery here so… I hope you will get inspired by the following gallery!

1Taupe and white with a very classic dark wood crib: so simple and chic. I adore the rocking horse!! (Image by http://www.houseofroseblog.com)

12Taupe and white again, but paired with other bright colors. It gives a more funny and childish look, I like the idea! Did you notice how cool is the chevron striped rug? Even with straight stripes at the wall! Thumbs up!! (Image by http://www.babylifestyles.com)

9Grey and white stripes with ruffled curtains and a vintage chest of drawers: so romantic! You will never get tired of such a classy nursery. (Image by http://www.homedesignspins.com)

Aqua, white, and grey. I love the chest of drawers and, most of all, the fake hanging zebra! I’m going to make one someday, so funny!! (Image by http://www.theinspiredroom.net)

And what about a striped ceiling? If you’re planning to decorate the walls with books, or paintings, but you still don’t want to renounce the striped look this can be the best option for you! (Image by http://www.creamylife.com and http://www.tumblr.com)

Do you think an entire wall of stripes could be too much? Well, you could always go for striped accessories, as a beautiful rug… (Image by http://www.poshtots.com)

And here is something you could do if your kids don’t share the same bedroom anymore: pink striped curtains for her, and blue striped wall for him! Love it! (Image by http://www.nurserynotations.com)

Now that I’ve convinced you you should go for stripes… aren’t you wondering how you could get such professional outcomes on a budget? Check this out, you’ll find the how-to that you need to get the perfect result!
